Eat Fresh Jo ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data processed through this Platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023 of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and other applicable laws.

1. Data we collect

Account data: name, phone number, email, password (hashed).
Order data: delivery address, items ordered, payment method, order history, notes, refund requests and uploaded photos.
Communications: messages exchanged with customer support.
Technical data: device, browser, IP address, approximate location and usage logs.

2. Why we use your data

To create and manage your account.
To process and deliver orders, payments and refunds.
To operate the loyalty and referral programs.
To provide customer support and handle complaints.
To prevent fraud, secure the Platform and enforce our Terms.
To comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

3. Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of (a) the performance of our contract with you, (b) compliance with legal obligations, (c) our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Platform, and (d) where required, your explicit consent.

delivery riders and logistics partners — to complete deliveries;
payment and CliQ providers — to process transactions;
cloud, hosting and analytics service providers acting as processors;
professional advisors and auditors, where strictly necessary;
competent Jordanian authorities, where required by law or court order.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers may store data outside Jordan. Where this is the case, we apply appropriate safeguards in line with the Personal Data Protection Law.

6. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above and to comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations under Jordanian law. Order and invoicing records are kept for the period required by tax legislation.

7. Your rights

Under Jordanian law you have the right to:

access your personal data;
request correction of inaccurate data;
request deletion, where there is no overriding legal obligation;
object to or restrict certain processing;
withdraw consent for marketing at any time;
file a complaint with the competent data protection authority in Jordan.
